Procedures for the start of the school day
Children are welcomed into school from 08:40 and can go straight into their classrooms. The school day begins with registration at 08:45 for years R, 1 and 2 and at 08:50 for years 3,4,5 and 6.
Procedures for the end of the school day
We have a slightly staggered end to the school day with Year R, 1 and 2 leaving the site at 15:15 and Years 3,4,5 and 6 leaving at 15:20. Parents collect children from the external doors where the children entered school.
Parents and children who need to come back into school for any reason should use the main entrance and report to the school office. This is in the interest of security and safeguarding those who work at and attend the school.
There is always a member of staff available to speak to you or your child at the start and end of the school day.
Before and After School Care
We are very fortunate to be able to provide a school breakfast club which runs from 08:00 to 08:40 each morning. This club is run by school staff and provides a variety of fun and creative activities as well as a healthy breakfast. To register your interest, please contact the school office.
In addition to this, we have a modular building onsite which is used by Time Out Childcare who provide flexible childcare to meet varying family needs. Morning and afternoon sessions can be booked in advance on a daily basis or block booked if parents require a regular service. Breakfast Club opens at 07:30 and runs until school begins. After School Club runs from the end of the school day until 18:00. Please ask at the school office for further information.
