St John The Baptist Church Of England Primary School

Welcome to the Friends of St Johns, our school Parent Teacher Association (PTA)!

As soon as your child joins St Johns, you automatically become part of our PTA community. By attending the events we organise throughout the year, you help us raise valuable funds that make a real difference to the experiences and opportunities available to all of our children.

The money raised by the PTA directly benefits pupils across the school. Thanks to the generosity and support of our families, we have been able to provide additional resources such as playground equipment, technology, learning materials and curriculum resources. We also help to support special school events including Sports Days, concerts, year group productions and Year 6 leavers’ celebrations by providing prizes, refreshments and gifts.

We are always delighted to welcome new faces to our PTA meetings, which are held throughout the year. These are friendly, informal sessions where we discuss ideas, plan events and work together to support the school community. Meetings are usually held around the start or end of the school day, but we are happy to arrange evening meetings if that works better for parents and carers.

Whether you can offer a little time, a lot of time, or simply support our events, every contribution is valued and appreciated.

Interested in getting more involved? We are always looking for new committee members and volunteers. Joining the PTA is a fantastic way to meet other families, support the school and help create memorable experiences for our children.

We look forward to welcoming you!
